European Day of Languages, Sept. 26

Once again, the MAABN is supporting sponsor Kangourou Provence in its organization of the European Day of Languages, which this year takes place on September 26th.

For the fourth year running in Marseille, language schools, institutions, organizations and volunteers will be getting together to celebrate language and culture diversity. Based on the concept of a multi-location professional fair, the annual event is focusing on linguistic strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that directly impact or influence the economic attractivity of the Provence region.

All day long and at several places along the Canebière, the public will be invited to take part in language workshops, intercultural activities, conferences and presentations and other street events. In the evening, a high-level conference at the Palais de la Bourse, entitled “Dare to talk – Take power“, will bring together eminent scholars and stakeholders from the local economy.

The event is free and everyone is invited to come along and participate. However, with the increase in the EDL’s popularity, it is strongly recommanded to book seats in advance by registering on the website

The full program can be obtained here:

We look forward to you sharing your diversity with us!
