Full House at the MuCEM

The Networking Evening held at the MuCEM last Friday proved to be a sell-out, with a hundred MAABN members, sponsors and guests taking advantage of an exclusive chance to watch the sunset and take in the panorama from the museum’s VIP Lounge.

One very important announcement made at the evening was the constitution of a working committee for the future integration of an English-speaking Amisgroup within the Amis du MuCEM that could help to publicize the museum overseas and participate on a voluntary basis in events such as welcoming overseas visitors. The museum approached the MAABN to help set up this group, which will of course enjoy the same advantages as the association’s French-speaking members.

The evening finished at 9.30, with the last of the guests lingering on the roof terrace to finish their discussions and take in the night-time views of the Fort St Jean and Notre-Dame de la Garde in the distance.
